Weigh out three equal samples; each individual sample
should range between 100-200 grams differing by no more
than 8 grams between samples. Recommended sample size is
150g ±1g.
Add beans to roasting chamber
Insert the partition which divides the roasting chamber
in three sections. This enables three samples to be
roasted simultaneously. Alternatively, remove the
partition and use the roaster as a one pound production
unit. Note: The roaster yields 1.1 lbs (500 grams) of
roasted coffee.
Select roast level
Select your roast level stored in the list and press
START. It doesn't get much easier than this! By
selecting one of the pre-programmed roast level settings,
you select the
final temperature
of the roast. Once the roast is completed, the system
automatically enters the cooling mode and shuts down when
complete.
Collect the roasted beans
After your system and beans have cooled, simply remove
the chamber from the roaster body, lift chaff collector
straight up to set aside for cleaning then suction each
sample using the provided hand-held evacuator. Each
sample can be recovered in approximately 5 seconds.
Deposit coffee into tray
Transferring the beans is simple using the provided
coffee transfer tray. The tray easily holds up to one
pound of beans and makes it easy to transfer to a cupping
tray, coffee bag or any other type of container.
